I can never find a perfect make up product to use on my face that looks natural or that is long lasting. Even any suggestions about getting clear skin without any blotches and imperfections! What is the best foundation, cover up, powder, etc. make up you use?
MAC cosmetics:)What is the best foundation, cover up, powder, etc. make up you use?
I really like Maybelline PureMakeup foundation %26amp; concealer - it's specifically for shine control, plus it has a natural look, good coverage, and is made with 50% water %26amp; is oil-free so it doesn't break me out.
For powder, I use Covergirl Clean Makeup. It's a regular looking compact, just is brown. It really stays put.
I also really like Physicians Formula concealer.
=)
i.d. Bare Minerals. They have different shades that will match your skin... there is a DVD and everything explaining it. I'm not gonna lie..it's expensive but worth it if you want nice skin! It actually improves your bad skin rather than covering it up! It improves it!
Bare Mineral I.D. makeup - I love it and I refuse to use any other makeup. This makeup is very fresh and it has natural minerals in them. It also has SPF 15 in them. I bought some for my mother and sister, they both love it. They both said that you don't feel like you have makeup on it. To find out more about it - click on this site - http://www.bareminerals.com/
covergirl.. the brown/black case is for coverup.. the silver case is for shine.. dry powder.. its really good. for clear skin use clearasil daily acne control.. vanishishing. to keep ur skin free of acne use noxzema triple clean blackhead cleanser for the treatment of acne. to keep ur skin clean use clean and clear acne cleaser for treatment and prevention of breakouts. i hope this helps
The perfect makeup ever is Bee Luscious Cosmetics they are all natural yet have an immense fashion sense and all their products are good for your skin. I have been a satisfied customer for 1 1/2 years now and I will never use anything else ever again its that amazing.
I really like Arbonne products, but you have to order it from a consultant. The good thing: everything is all natural and it never has broken me out (knock on wood) lol Other than that I like true blend from covergirl...its pretty good if you want storebought thats affordable. Lancome is also pretty good for a splurge!
CoverGirl is great!

Why does my make-up: (foundation )wear of in like 15 minutes??
i have tried using the powder foundation but it doesn't look like i have applied...
And the liquid foundation wears off very fast??
HELP??Why does my make-up: (foundation )wear of in like 15 minutes??
The best advice i can give is to use a primer.
I have odd skin myself and find that Estee Lauder products are best. I use their Advanced Night Repair cream every night and their Face Primer Plus half and hour before i put my foundation on everyday.
I have oily skin so i use the Matte Base, it looks great under foundation or powder.
Mineral foundations are also a godsend as they soak up moisture, stay put all day and give a flawless effect :)
Hope ive helpedWhy does my make-up: (foundation )wear of in like 15 minutes??
By powder foundation, I assume you mean loose powder foundation not a mix like Studio Fix, so I guess you want heavier coverage. And since liquid foundation wears off fast on you, you have oily skin I'm guessing :-) With oily skin, never use liquid foundation.
So I suggest a mix, like MAC Studio Fix (powder + foundation.) Use a primer beforehand, like Benefit That Girl. THEN apply Studio Fix using the sponge they supply in a dappling motion. To really seal the deal, finish it off with another layer of powder like Clinique Powder Finish or MAC Set Powder (do this only if you sense Studio Fix wearing off, otherwise it'll look too cakey.)
Do you have oily skin? What kind of other facial products are you using? Oily skin usually sheds foundation very fast; literally, the oil coming up underneath it just floats it right off the skin. This is made worse if you use heavy moisturizers or makeup not meant for oily skin. Look for light moisturizers and other products specifically for your skin type.
Okay, here's what I do and my friend does.
ME: Put mineral based foundation on and then but a like translucent powder over top. That's what makes it stay.
FRIEND: She puts liquid foundation AND powder foundation on. The liquid is used as a base and the powder then sticks to it. =]
use a primer before u put the foundation on and put it on over your eyes too so the eye shado stay on longer and does not wear off. may kay has some and it works good go to www.marykay.com
When you sweat, your pores open up and push the makeup off. I'd use exfoliating scrub before you put on the foundation. It will clear out your pores and make the makeup last longer.
put on primer first like the smashbox ones at sephora. http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hier鈥?/a>
Try using the mousse foundation
Try using a primer. M.A.C. has good ones, and they help your make-up last for hours!
try using a primer.
it shouldnt wear off if its a good foundation.
Mabey you don't apply enough.
its probally cheap
maybe its very cheap did you think about that

Whats the best brand of make up foundation to use if you have excema??
try going to the nearest makeup store and ask them to guide you. if you start choosing the best brand yourself, you might choose the wrong brand or maybe something that is sensitive to your skin. :)
What is the right age to wear make up -foundation?
everything on its time but its better to use it when there's no more acne on your face.I tell you this because if you put makeup on acne the acne gets wors so don't use makeup during acne timeWhat is the right age to wear make up -foundation?
I don't think teenagers should wear it. They don't really need it. Foundation shouldn't be used to cover up a bunch of skin problems. Instead, get into a good health and skin care routine to battle that problem. Maybe for those that have very scarred skin, a little concealer %26amp; foundation is OK. But for most, caking on foundation will only clog their pores.
Why not start after college when you enter the workforce. I'm in my thirties and I concentrate more on my skin care. After that, I apply a touch of foundation, eye shadow, liner, mascara %26amp; lip gloss. That's it for everyday wear and it's a great natural look. BTW, by avoiding all that caked makeup and having a good skin care regime, my skin is smooth and blemish-free. I fought off an attack of adult acne by upping my skin care! What is the right age to wear make up -foundation?
Don't start wearing foundation ever. I never wore foundation and I am 19 years old. The reason is because once you start wearing it, you become dependant on it to look good. This is why some girls look awful without foundation. Foundation is really bad for your skin. It clogs your pores and brings alot of problems such as blackheads and acne. This leads to making you look older in the long run. Humans are not meant to wear makeup. The only reason why people wear makeup is because makeup companies try to make money. Just focus on eating healthy and it would reflect on your skin. Trust me and Don't mess up your skin. Using foundation for very special ocassions only is a totally different skin. Anyways, guys think foundation is gross.
good lcuk
Do not even consider wearing foundation until you are 30! That is the only time when you will ever really need it. Just use cover-up and pressed powder. Or tinted moisturizer.
You should let your undertaker decide.
I beleive the right age to start is around 18. I am 21 and I didn't start wearing make-up till I was 18. Girls should let their natural beautty shine through
13. 11 or 12 would look trashy, and by 15 or 16 a girl needs at least some makeup everyday so 13 is a good age to start experimenting with mom's makeup bag.
i think 13 or 14 thats the average age that acne starts and your more aware of your apperances and want to look pretty. acne can be pretty embarrasing and covering it up can make u feel a little better about yourself.. as long as you dont make the mistake i did an choose the wrong color and look orange haha......and not wear to much and look cakey
all makeup, as in foundation, and cover up, is bad for your skin. if you need to use it to help cover up zits, use it sparingly. i started wearing makeup around 14. i think 15 or 16 is around the age to start wearing makeup. at that point, you are not a child anymore, and you are on your way to woman hood. just remember, read the foundation bottle first, depending on what's in it, it could cause you to break out with acne. so please be careful!!
14-15 minimum...
I wore make-up part-time starting around 15, 16. I didn't like foundation much because I was, and still am, impatient. Plus, I live in Southeast Texas - heat, humidity and foundation don't always mix. I only wear it anymore during the wintertime - usually when my skin needs additional color and evening out.
!4+ or when you feel skin is mature enough and need a makeup.

I think 14 or 15 is o.k. as long as the chick isn't wearing too much.

Simple make up foundation help plzz?
hi,
ok SO am 15 years old and i really want a simple make up foundation.
i want to make my skin more better.so can you give me some brand u would re-common to me.Simple make up foundation help plzz?
I'd recommend that you use a tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation. It goes on smoother and doesn't clog pores half as much as foundation does. Simple make up foundation help plzz?
i would recomend elizabeth arden its a lil pricey tho
Any mineral make-up is healthier for your skin than regular make-up. Most all brands of make-up are now offering this... Cover Girl, Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Revlon, etc.
Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Glow Sheers is good because it gives good coverage but it is also light. This foundation has a SPF of 20 and you can find it at CVS, Walgreens or Wal Mart for about $10.
What do you like better liquid make up or foundation?
thats a silly question, its the same thing. i prefer liquid foundation on the weekdays when working and powder foundation on the weekend on my days off. What do you like better liquid make up or foundation?
Most liquid foundations are packed full of fatty oils. They leave your skin looking dull after a few hours.
Check out Bare Minerals. I have tried everything under the sun... I even sold Mary Kay cosmetics for a short time.
Bare Minerals leaves my skin with a healthy glow all day. It doesn't wear off or melt off when I sweat. I was very skeptical at first. I didn't think a makeup regime of only powder could do the job of hiding my sever adult acne. But it does! It even improved my skin! And its talc free so I don't have to worry about it highlighting my worry lines on my forehead!
You should check it out! What do you like better liquid make up or foundation?
I find that liquid defaintely does the trick. I was unsure about buying the Clinique liquid foundation because of the expensive pricetag but after trying my friends it was definately worth it. If you use a cottonbud/q-tip to dip into the foundation pot and get abit of foundation, then apply it to the desired area and smooth with a foundation brush it hides imperfections perfectly. definately better than any other powder or liquid foundation ive ever tried. getting a foundation fitting is also a good idea so you make sure it suits your skin colour, hope thats some help xxxx
foundation covers up the spots you don want to be seen better! =)
Deff. foundation. It gives you better coverage.[[=
its da same thing
I primarily use liquid foundation. The only times I've used the creme foundation I ended up with blemishes. Liquid seems to blend easier for me.

A good foundation make up to use in the uk?
whats a good foundation make up to use in the uk.it has to be oil free and let my skin breath a bit
.A good foundation make up to use in the uk?
Lancome make great foundation. They have an oil-free range that I use and I find it blends really well and matches well to all skin colours. Some of the girls at work think I only wear lipstick and my skin is naturally even toned! Well, I am not gonna tell...A good foundation make up to use in the uk?

i love max factor compact foundation facefinity. i wasnt a big fan of compacts before but ever since i started using it i love it. the only thing is to moisturize . and i also love it cause it seems to stop my skin from breaking out.
MAC do an amazing one called Studio Fix Fluid.
I've been using it for a while - it's the best Ive used and I've tried a lot!
clinique has very good foundations.
polly filler
Clinique do a great oil free one, so do MAC as do Prescriptives.
Almay Skin Stays Clean is really fantastic. Easily the best foundation i've ever used. Gives natural but good coverage and even if you forget to wash it off at night, your skin is fine in the morning.
I'm a make-up artist for TV/film and at the moment i use (prescritives) virtual skin, it has a real natural look and it has a light /medium coverage.Oil free and has a sun factor 10. I use a brush to put on foundation the best ive found is mac190 flat. Most people don't know how to put foundation on
U only use foundation where u need it! around the nose, eyes, mouth.may be a little on the cheeks! foundation isn't to be used as a mask!
and i have found with prescriptives virtual skin as it water based you don't need to powder.
your skin will definitely breath babe, good luck.x
I use Maybelline Dream Matt Mousse but I don't put any make up over it as it is enough to use on it's own. Silky soft and great blending.
I have tried hundreds and now use Shisheido tinted moisturiser which is fantastic - not heavy at all and really silky
Try using AVON, it's a good make and well in budget too.
Hope this helps

Use Cliniques Pore Minimising Range!! They are lovely, last all day , have a large range of shades and minimize the appearance of your pores - perfect for oily skin types!
Try Skin Stays Clean by Almay. It's an oil-free formula and doesn't clog pores in the slightest. It also comes in fantastic yellow-based shades which you would only normally find in the more expensive brands. This foundation also feels cooling on the skin when applied and gives great coverage despite its lightness. It costs approx 拢8 in Boots and Superdrug.

but for a cheaper solution, avon do a great oil-free range and com in all different shades too! i found it worked almost as well as the clinique stuff!
there is a line of make-up that i have used for years and it is called bare escentuals or bare minerals if you will. this is the best oil free make-up and is so simple to use. it comes with many types of brushes and what it is, is a light powdery foundation with many different shades....and because it is powdery you can mix and match your foundation shades as well as your eye shadow shades. and i know for sure that you can purchase it in the UK as well. i urge you to try this make=up because it is the best....it gives you the look of being air brushed. please try this, i am sure that you will love it.
