What is the best foundation make up for full coverage?

i currently use bobbi brown moisturising foundation but feel i could do with a little more coverage but keeping the moisture as i have dry skin. I have tried many brands with no luck!!!What is the best foundation make up for full coverage?
You should try Dermablend. My mom has large dark spots on her face ans when she wears it you can't even tell she has them and it keeps her skin hydrated as she also has dry skin. What is the best foundation make up for full coverage?
covergirl
Not exactly foundation but a lot of people love Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer. I covers really good- expensive @ $30 but all you need is a tiny bit- it's very concentrated. The full coverage foundation I can think of is Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. It says it made for rosacea and hard to cover pigmentation.
Firstly you should try and get hold of a cream foundation as they are best suited to dry skins. It also has a longer staying power.

The other thing you can try is before applying foundation make sure you apply a moisturiser as this will prevent your foundation soaking into your skin, then using a loose powder go over your entire face this will help to set your foundation.

Personally though I have dry skin and I find the best foundation I have tried for full coverage and staying power is Revlon colour stay with softlex. Just need to make sure you apply your moisturiser first. Hope Ive helped.
i used maxfactor two in one, it has a moisturiser that u apply first then foundation and it leaves u with very smooth skin and a flawless finish.

I love it you can get it in any high street shop
estee lauder ideal matte. very good coverage, lasts for ages unless you rub it off yourself!
I had exactly the same problem as you before i discovered my current make-up. The foundation i use now is called Sheer Cover foundation, the only thing is it is only availible by mail order and cost me around 拢30. It is not a liquid it is powder form and consists of a bottle of cleanser and moisturiser for pre-application, then you have a concealer compact, and then you have your main foundation powder and finally you have your finishing powder. It sounds like it would take a lot of time to apply but trust me it takes only a few minuits. It is the best make-up i have ever bought and i would'nt use anything else. If you would like the ordering info just e mail me at Funkymommy@hotmail.co.uk. hope this is of use to you, if not my appologies. Shirley, xxx

Try anthing thats labelled Matt as it will give heavier coverage than sheer foundations which will be more watery. Put your foundation on in layers - try two and if you don't think thats enough add another layer.
I personally like Bare Escentials. Very light coverage and won't cause a break out.
Polyfilla
REVLON ColorStay liquid foundation. I have freckles and sun damage but when I put this on my face is flawless. It truly stays on from morning until night. I live in Florida where it is hot and humid but this makeup never melts, streaks, or looks cakey/fake in the sunlight. They make it for dry, combination, or oily skin and you can pick it up for around $9 at any drugstore. Good Luck!
Dear, you should know that only water based foundation stays longer than usual moisturising ones.so in here you have to try moisturiser base separetely and then water based or powder over it within 2-3 mins.
use E45 cream for your dry skin, and then apply some elizabeth arden compact. that gives loads of coverage, and doesnt seem to dry out the skin.

:)
estee lauder double wear is the best one I have found. All the other ones melt and fade off. make sure you get matched as close to ur skin as possible or u will not like the foundation.

Guys & Girls: Can you always tell if someone is wearing make up (foundation) - even if it is not a lot?

I am curious - because I often wear a bit of foundation, and try to put it on so that it looks natural - and I often have people telling me how nice my skin is (even though I am wearing make up) - but I always feel like I can tell when I see other girls wearing foundation. DO YOU THINK GIRLS WHO WEAR FOUNDATION LOOK BAD/UNNATURAL (even if it is not caked on)?Guys %26amp; Girls: Can you always tell if someone is wearing make up (foundation) - even if it is not a lot?
not neseserally if you put on liwuid foundation yes alittel bit,but u should try mineral foundation it looks the most natural, and plus i dont think i can always tell if someboy has tons of makeup on ,even if tehy do they dotn look badGuys %26amp; Girls: Can you always tell if someone is wearing make up (foundation) - even if it is not a lot?
no..you cant always tell that its on only if there is like a lotttt
I know what you mean, when a girl is wearing makeup caked on.. I think that if you wear just a little bit of foundation, then rub it in, you cant really tell, thats what I do, You dont want to go too far and put on too much, but foundation is good to blend your skin into one color, instead of blotches of red or somthing like that. I thinks it is gross when girls wear too much, i mean.. cant they tell that it looks bad.. ?
if it's the right shade and right texture for your skin type, then it should look natural. I wear foundation because I have uneven skin tone and redness near my nose, and a little bit of acne. All my makeup does is make my skin look EVEN, not like i have a new face on. the whole point is to enhance your natural beauty, not hide it.
2 questions; 2 answers:

Yes, if a woman (or guy) is close enough.

If well done, it looks great.
make up at all only takes away from the real beauty. just don't worry about it. if a guy can be hot without makeup, so can women. just find styles that naturally help set your atmosphere without makeup.
No not at all, in fact... I wear it But I wear so little... that my friends did not even know that I wore it until like a week ago when I told them that i was wearing it. I only wear it if my complexion is not looking as good as I would like, but I know alot of girls that wear it everyday and I think that they look very pretty with it.
no.
Some ppl wear very discrete eye and skin make up so u can hardly tell when they're wearing it where as others are more obvious. I think if u look close enough to ppl's faces in broad daylight u can pretty much always tell if they are wearing make up or not. However i dont think there's anything wrong with skin make up at all and most girls look better when they wear it because it evens out the skin tone in their faces. When foundation is the wrong colour for someone's skin or it's 'caked on' it can look pretty awful!!!! XXXX
If it is a good quality foundation, matches your skin tone and is applied correctly - then not at all! The only giveaway is if you haven't blended it into your neck or underneath your ears!

If you do feel self conscious about it though, try a tinted moisturiser, it works in the same way and is more natural. Bobbi Brown does a very nice one.
aahh when you can tell, probably the shade of the makeup doesnt match their skin tone, or its caked. etc etc soo you can tell.. there are alot of girls who have mask looking foundation on their face. the purpose of foundation is to make your skin look better and still look natural.. and guys cant tell at all -.- . most of my male friends...
Depends how you apply it

and to apply it you've got to have the right tools!

xo
if its not there shade then yeah they can look pretty bad, but not really unless they cake it on, because if some one with oily or shiny skin suddenly the next day has no oily / shiny skin then its probably powderd face.

How to stop cold turkey wearing foundation make up without looking strange, oily, or dirty?

i still want my skin to look fresh. i just hate the feel of foundation and have become so reliant on it.How to stop cold turkey wearing foundation make up without looking strange, oily, or dirty?
Wash face and follow with toner. Find a great powder (revelon colorstay or high definition by makeup forever) and dust over face with big fluffy brush. You can dot foundation on pimples or discolorations before powdering...How to stop cold turkey wearing foundation make up without looking strange, oily, or dirty?
Try wearing a packed mineral based powder instead of foundation.

It will absorb the oil and even out your complexion without being heavy. My favorite is the mineral foundation by MAC. It stays on all day and I don't even feel like I'm wearing anything.

Mineral based powders are great, because they are lighter than most packed powders and they make your skin healthier as you wear it.
try a clarifying powder, that stops shine an evens out skin tone.
Try a tinted moisturizer instead, it will feel more like you just washed your face and put on some face lotion while still giving you some coverage.
Maybe instead of stopping altogether get a better foundation for your skin? Bare Minerals is amazing and I hardly ever break out anymore. But if you're really set on no makeup then try some oil absorbing pads you can get at any walmart, target, walgreens, etc.
I would start using a Sunless Tanning Face Lotion like Olay Regenerist Touch of Sun UV Defense Regenerating Lotion with SPF 15. It's a great, non-greasy moisturizer for your face, and it gives you gradual color, so you look like you have a slight tan!
cold turkey will continue looking strange, oily and dirty, whatever you do.
wash your face more often and try to less on each day
All the answers above will work, it just depends on what you're comfortable with. Myself, I just stopped wearing makeup on the days I don't have to go to work and got used to it that way. A gentle self-tanning lotion will probably work in your situation.
First make sure you have a good skin care routine, then try switching to a bronzer or a tinted moisturizer for a few weeks. If you just quit straight off, you might find yourself wanting to use it as an excuse. Just gradually slip off of it. If you want to just quit, then take at least a week and use it only under your eyes while you get the rest of your skin all happy and fresh. (face wash, cleansers, masks, and toner, etc) then just quit. ^_^

Make up/ foundation tones for different skins?

What foundation tones ie you can get foundations with yellow or pinky tones to it to match your skin or brighten it up. What tones do you use on ashen/grey skin? and on yellow-golden skin?Make up/ foundation tones for different skins?
this flatters ALL skin tones: http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Sur鈥?/a>Make up/ foundation tones for different skins?
If your skin is yellow or olive toned you have warm undertones, if it is pinky you have cool undertones. Most foundations have each of these but don't always directly tell you. Some websites have the foundations separated like this. The only drugstore line I've seen separate like this is the L'oreal true match.

If you go to a counter in a dept store they'll match you.
MAC makeup has the best range of skin tone colours i have seen highly recomended pricie but worth it

Does anyone know of a foundation make-up that DOES NOT contain titanium dioxde?

I am highly allergic to titanium and so far the only foundation I have found without it is Merle Norman Powder Base. However, this base if for older woman and I need to try something else. If you know of anything please let me know.

ThanksDoes anyone know of a foundation make-up that DOES NOT contain titanium dioxde?
check the natural brands in health food stores would be my guess...or try Prescriptives...

What is the best powder foundation make-up that has minerals in it?

Everday Minerals is good. Go to their website, everydayminerals.com, they give you free samples of two foundations that you can choose, depending on your skin tone, skin type, etc. and a blush and a bronzer. But you have to pay for shipping which is $4, but it's cheap because the minerals are incredibly concentrated, so all you need is a teeny teeny bit. Should lasts you at least two months. So you can try everything before deciding to spend big bucks on bare minerals. I know people who have used both, and they prefer everyday minerals. Good luck! What is the best powder foundation make-up that has minerals in it?
yeah Bare Minerals, try to visit Sephora store near you,for a free make-up so you will know if its good on you. What is the best powder foundation make-up that has minerals in it?
bare minerals
Bare Escentuals . Also Neutrogena has a new powder/mineral foundation.called Mineral Sheers.
I love Bare Minerals. I've been using it for 3 1/2 years and have had great luck with it. It doesn't clog your pores, you control the coverage and it has a SPF15.

If you're near either a Bare Escentuals boutique or Sephora stop in and check it out. Both carry a starter kit which has 2 foundation shades, warmth, mineral veil, 3 brushes and an instructional DVD, it runs $60-$75.

Give it a try, if you don't like it you can return it.

With whichever mineral makeup you go with remember, a little goes a long way.

Good luck!!

How do I keep make up and foundation from running off?

Every time I apply my make up and foundation the hot weather makes it run off. Are there any tips to keep my make up from running off?How do I keep make up and foundation from running off?
My mother would always apply a little bit of powder over her foundation. Something out there now that might work well for holding in the foundation is the Bare Minerals brand mineral veil. It has no color but will hold the foundation. How do I keep make up and foundation from running off?
Get a good moisturizer, and a good face primer, and also a good setting powder.

Since it is summer now, wearing liquid foundation is not recommended when you're going to be in the sun alot. Try switching to mineral makeup, since it last longer and can also absorb oils on your face. Or if you don't want to try mineral makeup, you can get a good tinted moisturizer.

But if you still want to use liquid foundation I suggest you invest in a really good makeup primer, like Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, expensive but works amazing, and you don't have to get the full size one, you can get the travel size one that can last you a long time, and you can buy those at Ulta or Sephora. Once you prime your face add a small amout of foundation at a time, and then build up lightly, don't over due it with foundation, if you apply heavy, it'll bascially melt off your face lol. After you apply your foundation, set it with a setting powder, and you should carry a blotting powder with you and touch up throughout the day.

    Hope this was helpful
If during the day, you start to feel your face getting oily or sweaty, use a Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Absorbing Sheet. These things are amazing. I use them everyday. They remove the oil, but don't smudge makeup.
Try to use liquid foundation. Apply evenly and wait for it to dry out. Then apply your usual make up like blush on and then apply some loose powder to make it look natural.
first off wash your face, then moisturize it, put on foundation primer and then apply your foundation. it always works for me
apply makeup lightly, and dust with face powder when you are done

What's a good make up foundation for these hot summer days????

It's so hot outside and I have alot of outdoor events to go to. I need suggestions for a good foundation that will stand the heat and a bit of sweat (yuck, these TX summer days are a killer). Anyone have any ideas? Something at the drug stores or a place like Target is preffered since I hate going to the mall. What's a good make up foundation for these hot summer days????
I hear ya girl! I live in Texas as well and it is something else trying to keep on a foundation in the summer! Maybelline ';pure'; Foundation stays on really well through the whole day. What's a good make up foundation for these hot summer days????
how bout investing in a powder foundation?

it'll soak up the oil and/or sweat on your face, that's what sets it apart from liquid foundation.

i use studio fix powder (mac) and it covers beautifully and with whatever coverage your needing. give that a shot. you can always return it if ur not happy.
check out shisiedo..they have a great matte base
Your best option would be to use a tinted moisturizer. It gives the same coverage as foundation, but is less heavy on the skin. Try clinque.
you shouldn't wear foundation in heat and humidity..

it will literally sink into your pores and destroy your skin.you can use a tinted moisturizer..with spf in it .

i personally like plain natural glowing skin during the summer.
I love Bare Minerals. It never runs or spots. Also, it does not plug your pores if you are sweating. You can buy online or at any Sephora. It's the best make-up I've ever used, and it lasts forever. It's totally worth the investment.
I live in Florida where it is hot and humid so I feel your pain. I use REVLON ColorStay Active foundation. It's in a liquid form and I've found the best price is Wal-Mart. This stuff really stays on from morning until night when I take it off. It does not melt or streak and your face looks natural and not made up in natural sunlight. I have two toddlers so we are outside a lot during the day and when we are inside they want to wrestle but my makeup does not come off on them or my clothes. I love it. Good Luck.

    Buying guide for Foundation

    http://geethabeautytips.blogspot.com/200鈥?/a>
    Hi Amber,

    I understand about wanting coverage.

Since Summer is always hot with humidity. Makeup tends to melt off or makes you look super oily.

What I do is exfoliate my skin first to get rid of dead skin cells.

I then invest a good foundation primer. This sets the foundation for a smooth application.

I would just only cover areas that are the problem the less foundation, the less of the mess..

Instead of using foundation, you could use concealer in problem areas and blend those areas. Add foundation if you really need to but not alot. Then invest in a loose powder and dust over your face to blend with the concealed area.

Since you have less makeup, you can carry your concealer and loose powder in your purse for touchups.

You could also invest in some oilblotting papers to reduce the shine. I think Clean and Clear makes some.
My best recommendation to you is to use a non-tansferable foundation. It will not come off, and it will not clog your pores. Individualist by Estee Lauder is a very great light coverage foundation. For a little heavier coverage, the have one called double wear. I wear those year round, and they are wonderful.

Revlon also has a couple of foundations that are non transferable and they are reallly really good with coverage and wear longevity. Max factor, and Sonia Kashuk also have really good foundations, choose according to your skin type.

Whatever you do, don't go with a heavy powder foundation, because all it will do it clog your pores and cake on with the oil on your skin.

What other make up foundations are similar to proactiv foundation but that i can buy at the store.?

If your looking for somethin with medication in it. Several of the store brands sell them...cover girl, maybelline.

Mineral makeup may be the healthiest and if you have skin problems just use a spot treatment.

I like Ulta's mineral powder foundation - its in compact form and has amazing coverage. Use a foundation brush to make it look better.

How to keep your foundation [make up] on?

So every morning I put on foundation [to cover up some acne] and everyday when I get home from school it's off. So I'm wondering is there any secret to keeping it on?How to keep your foundation [make up] on?
Don't do that! I mean to use foundation to cover acne. It'll cause the acne to produce more and more.

What I suggest is that u need to drink a lot of water n more vitC. :) Cleanse your face twice a day. Morning and of course, when you come back home. Because the dust and dirt might 'stick' to your face that caused acne. U may slap yourself with some slice of lemon on the acne part or use 'tea tree' gel. :)

I know that's not what u want, you want solution to keep the foundation on. But what you're doing, may not solve the problem for long term and pretty unwise.

And the answer to your qns: Try to apply some base before putting on your foundation / concealer. And [[this is really bad for your skin]] you may take a hairspray - about 8 cm apart, spray some (not a lot) on your face. It'll help to keep it on for hours. :)

Of course, please note that this is not the best solution ya? :) Take care girl. How to keep your foundation [make up] on?
if ur using liquid it tends to die out.. you can always use mineral make up which stays put.
I use MAC Fix + to help keep everything in place.
definately buy revlon colorstay. it stayed on all day through all of my high school years

Make up foundation advice - should I try a Salon or the Assistants in Boots?!?

I am pretty hopeless when it comes to buying foundation, I either buy one that is too light/too dark or no coverage/orange!! I would like some advice on what foundation to buy, I dont like the completely natural look - I like to have very good coverage but on the same token I dont want to look orange. Where is the best place I can get this kind of information?Make up foundation advice - should I try a Salon or the Assistants in Boots?!?
Visit a counter in Boots or Debenhams. I recommend Estee Lauder. Their Double Wear foundation is amazing - I also like a really good coverage so it's perfect for me. It covers all my blemishes and gives a really good base for other make-up.

The colours won't go orange - they will match one to your skintone perfectly. xxMake up foundation advice - should I try a Salon or the Assistants in Boots?!?
The assistants at the make up counters like Clinique etc are good but the general boots ones are rubbish. I once took over from a Boots assistant cus the woman was getting annoyed %26amp; I knew the product she was on about.

I'd say take a friend along or go a salon?

I went Clarins %26amp; they were very helpful.
Get a couple of different brands to do a free test make up for you and then ALWAYS wear it for a few hours and look at it in daylight. store lights give a false colour.

Dont buy anything untill you have worn it a while.
    my advice.

    go to a salon.

    they'll help you.

    and they will most likely

    try some of their products

    on you.

    it's better so you dont

    keep buying more and more.
You should visit a couple of department stores cos some of the beauty counters do free make overs, showing you which make up to use and how to apply it.I think the body shop does this too
    MAC.

They are perfect and the assistants are always really helpful.
go to a salon , or actually a make-up artist
    benefit makeup stall

omg they have the BESt foundation

if your a teen like me then omg YES!

  • How do i get foundation (make up) out of a polo shirt ?

its been washed, then washed again with fairy liquid and a splash of vanish, but its not coming out, would a dry cleaners sort it or should i carry on trying to clean it,

i dont know whether just to put the spray on or give it a good scrub,How do i get foundation (make up) out of a polo shirt ?
This method works good Sponge out serious stains

Cola, hair dye, ketchup, and wine stains on washable cotton blends should be treated as soon as possible (that is, within 24 hours). Sponge the area with undiluted vinegar and launder immediately afterward. For severe stains, add 1-2 cups vinegar to the wash cycle as well

    Pat away water-soluble stains

You can lift out many water-soluble stains -- including beer, orange and other fruit juices, black coffee or tea, and vomit --from your cotton-blend clothing by patting the spot with a cloth or towel moistened with undiluted white vinegar just before placing it in the wash. For large stains, you may want to soak the garment overnight in a solution of 3 parts vinegar to 1 part cold water before washing.

    Unset old stains

Older, set-in stains will often come out in the wash after being pretreated with a solution of 3 tablespoons white vinegar and 2 tablespoons liquid detergent in 1 quart (1 liter) warm water. Rub the solution into the stain, then blot it dry before washing.

Good Luck !How do i get foundation (make up) out of a polo shirt ?

you should try dream matte mousse foundation from maybelliene it acts as a concealer and it looks great it feels light and just remeber to moisturize before and after you take it off your skin will look amazing. and it doen'st go blotchy.x
Try the maybelline or no.7 mineral foundation. They're both powder and you apply them with a large brush by sweeping it on in circles. It's the best foundation i've used as it's so light, lets your skin breathe but also provides really good coverage without making you look as if you've caked it on. It lasts for ages too.

if you prefer a heavier foundation then try Clinique's range, if you go in they will test the foundations on your skin so you can see what kind of coverage they have before you buy.
I have red blotchy skin and swear by Revlons Colorstay, it's brilliant :) great coverage and lasts all day. I'd say its medium-full coverage and covers my red patches and any spots I have! It comes in a formula for dry/normal skin and combi/oily skin :)

If you can afford Estee Lauder then they do one called Doublewear which is amazing. I like their light version as it's a bit lighter than the Colorstay.

Dream Matte mousse, liquid and mousse is AWFUL. Won't last so don't bother with it.

I don't like Rimmel as the colours are odd but try them out :) they have good coverage!

Bourjois do a sleep effect one which makes you look awake, thats decent coverage.

True match liquid by L'oreal is pretty decent too. Mattifying look though which dries my dry skin out :(
i recently brought the dream matte mousse foundation from maybelliene.

it is really good it also has great coverage that will cover blemishes %26amp; freckles. it will lasst for hours.e really good.

    Bare Essentials mineral make up.
I recommend mark. Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation. It's very light and can be applied with the sponge that comes with it for a full coverage look or a powder brush for a sheer look. It's an oil free pressed powder foundation and costs $8. I also recommend mark. Matte-nificent. It's an oil absorbing powder and helps to reduce shine - also costs $8.
Try mineral powder, like i.d. bare minerals. It goes on like a powder but covers up just as good as a concealer and foundation, and covers up oiliness.

Well i get oily skin as well during the day and found that Avon's own mousse worked but they do lyk the liquid as well but i prefer the mousse and in the avon magazine it has a variety of skin tones to pick from, so that helps. Also remember to wash your face in the morning and before you go to bed (So it gets rid of panda eyes in the morning and reduces spots as i was told).

Hope it helps in some sort of way.
Umm i usually use covergirl stuff but there is this all natural stuff called origins that has really good makeup. And usually it never comes off during the day. Oh! And to help put a little bit of powder over it after you rub in teh liquid stuff that way of teh powder comes off you still have liquid underneath! Thats what i always do! Hope i helped! =)
Well I use Sonya Foundation And it really works i have oily skin aswel and it does really work for me i wear it at school everyday and at weekends.

ok it may be expensive but it really works on my skin and i love i will not leave the house unless i have some on.=]

    hoped i helped
Okay about 1 hour ago I came home with this new mousse, but it works just like a foundation. It's about 6 dollars at Walmart. Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, and it works great. It's not cakey and blends soo well. It actually makes me look somewhat decent hah. It's good quality and stays on pretty well.

    Hope this helps =]
i know you wanted liquid but usually powder is better for oily skin.

i would do this buy a tinted moisturizer like physicans formula or covergirl then set it with a loose or compact powder i like neutrogena skin blends oil control powder! also check out some oil erasers from different makeup brands!

    good luck!
Clinque. It's the best liquid foundation I have ever tried. Gives beautiful coverage, good for your skin and doesn't clog pores as much as other foundations. It's a water-base! It looks very natural.

    Emily :)
Revlon Colorstay works for a lot of people (it broke me out, but only about one in thirty seems to break out from it)

It gives nice coverage and lasts all day.
benefit or clinique liquid foundation then apply a powder over it to set it and matte it

or diorshow airflash or bare minerals
try almay smartshade, or almay natural..i have oily, acne-prone skin and it really works..
Dream matte mousse. It's not liquid but i have oily skin and it's really good and natural x

What is the best waterproof foundation make up that i can go swimming in?

ok so im going swimming for p.e. for like a month and i really need a foundation that will cover my zits and scars

if it helps im swimming for like one hour each day for a monthWhat is the best waterproof foundation make up that i can go swimming in?
Well your skin is going to dry out from swimming, so i would suggest not wearing any, no on is going to care, plus your face will be in the water most of the time ne way. just put on foundation after you swim. What is the best waterproof foundation make up that i can go swimming in?
that's quite a lot of swimming. the upside to not wearing foundation in water is it can give a good clean out of you pours. mabye just reapplying when you get out of the water is just the simplest thing to do. if you do find a good waterproof foundation there is really no guaranty it will be good quality even if it does not come off in the water then you are also going to need a good makeup remover. i have heard of waterproof mascara and eye makeup but no foundation.
    lancome or clinique for foundation
    covergirl

    it lasts all day....

  • I want make-up foundation that lasts for hours but is not very heavy?

I used to use Max Factor but it only lasts for 3-4 hours. I bought something else but i find it doesn't look very natural. Any suggestions?I want make-up foundation that lasts for hours but is not very heavy?
I use Chanel creme teint. it's great stuff!!, a little expensive but it lasts all day, feels so light, and gives great coverage.

although if you buy online at strawberrynet.com it's so much cheaper than buying it at a store.

i highly recommend this foundation! i swear by itI want make-up foundation that lasts for hours but is not very heavy?
I use the clinique and/or the bodyshop. Its no really expensive and lasts more than 8 hours as long as your boss did not asked you to run to buy caffe latte in starbucks, 3 blocks away from your building ! :)

always bring blot paper with you (again, the bodyshop, so natural) so when you sweatin' or cheek kiss with someone, you don't have to put on your make up again, just blot your face with it and your face will look fresh again and natural.
You could try Maybelline Dream Matte mousse makeup, I use it everyday, it's very light and powder-like and it lasts quite long on me. It also depends on the skin type...
Buy make-up just a touch lighter than you think you would wear and blend color or bronzers, your preference, to put depth and glow where you need it on your face to accentuate your features or look natural.

I suggest a liquid foundation from MAC. It has tiny crushed pearl fragments that give your skin a glowy sheen. I wear it out dancing to the clubs (sometimes sleep in it, shhh!) and it doesn't rub off or sweat off. It is so light weight I forget it is there. It is matte, but glowy! It is called Hyper Real SPF 15. It also does not play up my wrinkles as I age! It's my fav! Good luck!
I agree with blah....its real light and a little goes a long way.
    BareMinerals by BareEscentuals...

    THE BEST.

All of the hype surrounding this product is well deserved. It is the only foundation I will ever use...plus it has SPF 15.
Well Loreal has that Infallible stuff that's suppose to last 8 hrs. I' try it. I use the Truematch and it lasts pretty long so they have some pretty good products. The Infallible also comes in all those shades to match every skin color. They have blushes, bronzers to match as well. I'd def. try it.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is made from natural ingredients and gives a natural coverage and stays on all day.
i use Lakme and Loreal. use lakme Face magic foundation.and loreal
I have oily skin and I, too, need a foundation that can last. I use Mark face xpert Flawless Touch Makeup and I love it! It's oil free and lasts all day! Plus it has a built-in spongetip applicator. It comes in 8 shades and is only $8.00.

Any suggestions on foundation make-up that offers full coverage?

I have acne prone skin and am looking for a great foundation and powder to offer full coverage. I am looking for somthing that will offer a smooth look.Any suggestions on foundation make-up that offers full coverage?

This actually gives you nice coverage while still letting your skin breath!

    L'Oreal Perfect True Match Minerals

The best thing to go for is always going to be mineral foundation, particularly if you are acne prone because mineral foundation is lighter on the skin so does not block pores as other foundations do, it saves you having to use two products on your skin (foundation and powder) which also adds to blocked pores and it is chemical-free 鈥?many chemicals are harmful to skin so can cause irritation and add to problems such as acne, most foundations are chock-full of such chemicals. Mineral foundation has the same sort of coverage as a liquid foundation but is light like a powder and as it is powder then it gives you a more powder-like finish which is very smooth 鈥?it has become so popular because it is very good for covering up things such as acne and birthmarks flawlessly and because it is much healthier than commercial make-up. Mineral foundation tends to stay in place for longer too so you don鈥檛 have to keep adding more throughout the day, it lets your skin breathe, doesn't look overdone and is generally much nicer to use.

L'Oreal has come out with a mineral foundation brand called Perfect True Match Minerals - http://www.superdrug.com/invt/386006 - this is handy if you want to buy it from a conventional store, but personally I鈥檇 recommend looking at some of the stores online that offer much lighter powder and they work out a little bit cheaper.

Oh, and if you suffer from acne then I鈥檇 recommend you try using something called Oil Cleansing Method [OCM] 鈥?this is basically a way of cleansing your face with oil, it sounds odd however when you are cleaning your face with washes or soaps you are stripping away your skins natural oils, thus your skin overcompensates creating more oil that rather than help unblock your pores actually clogs them up. OCM basically cleans your face without stripping away those oils, and without adding more oil as the oil you use is cleaned off, it is fully customisable to match your skin type from day-to-day, add tea tree oil and I can honestly promise you that you will see your acne clear up 鈥?I have seen it work absolute miracles on people suffering from acne and my skin is lovely from using it (mine used to be spotty, oily and flaky). There is a good post from naturalliving if you search online for this method, but this page has the basics - http://www.moogoo.com.au/category13_1.ht鈥?/a>
Rimmel London Lasting finish 16 hour foundation (the new one)

It looks natural someone looked at me on saturday and said ';you have perfect skin, no spots yet'; im 15 btw.

    So yeah =] x

    Max Facor is great

i have pretty bad skin too, but loads of people keep telling me my skin looks really clear

i use Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation because it blends into your unique skin colour and doesnt look overdone

    hope this helps u

chanel is the best it covers every mark on the face but it is a little bit expensive as it is branded, but it is just what you are looking for

    hope i helped
try Demarblend face cover foundation. it works wonderfull.
clinique has the best powder that i know of--it works really well to cover.

What make-up (foundation) is least likely to cause skin break out?

Lately I've tried BareMinerals, NARS, Chanel, et al. and my skin has broken out. I'm desperate to try anything -- doesn't matter what store sells it, how expensive or cheap. Thanks for ideas! What make-up (foundation) is least likely to cause skin break out?
At the risk of sounding like a commerial. . .try neutrogena foundation oil-free, it has a patent....pending formula clears up blemishes and helps prevent future breakouts.

Helps clear and minimize the appearance of pores.

Time released multi-vitamin complex helps maintain skin's healthy look.

    Hypoallergenic - Non-acnegenic - Dermatologist developed - Fragrance free

    Indications:

    For the management of acne.

I use it and it has worked great! I strongly recommend! What make-up (foundation) is least likely to cause skin break out?
brands arent necessary. what you need to look for are ingredients. water based foundation are least likely to cause break outs.
    an oil-free foundation would work

all make-up clogs up your pores so there is no least likely solution

stick to one which is medicated with benzoyl peroxide or saliyic acid
    instead of using foundation...

if your skin is good..let it go natural.

since you want a good foundation..try dior...satin finish..it doesn't have spf..and i suspect that is what is irritating your skin.
Maybelline Pure is what you want. It's a liquid foundation that's made with 50% water--completely oil-free, so it won't clog up pores and break out your skin. This foundation looks completely flawless and never cakes. Because it's 50% water, it doesn't dry out skin. It never looks too obvious, because it has sheer-to-medium coverage.

For reference, I have combination skin-- oily nose and forehead, but dry cheeks, and redness above my jawline.

These foundations are ranged somewhere between $4-$10 bucks and are readily available at your nearby drugstore/target/walmart!

I have a fair, warm complexion with yellow undertones. I use Light 02 and it's a perfect match for me! If you're cool-toned, I suggest odd numbers like Light 01 or 03.

If you tend to look orange, that means either 1) the foundation color sucks, or 2) you picked a shade that was too dark for you, or 3) you're cool-toned and picked a warm shade. To check if you're cool-toned or warm-toned, check out the color of your veins on the inside of your wrists. If they're more blue than green, you're cool-toned. If they're more green than blue, you're warm-toned.

I got my Maybelline Pure liquid foundation for $3.99 on sale! It's a blue tube with a gray screw-on cap.

Many low-end brands are just as good as, and even better than, high-end brands, in my opinion.
    Try Clinique.

I have acne, and though it does nothing to help me, it doesn't create more of a problem. Also...their skin care line is fabulous for break-outs.
It's completely trial and error. Everyone's skin is different.
Do you need to use a liquid foundation?

Unless you have some kind of crazy allergy, what makes people break out from make-up is the oil in liquid foundation and the talc in the powder foundations.

It's very easy now to find powder foundations (pressed powder, not liquid to powder!) that are talc free. I like physicians formula and you can get it right from CVS for like $15.00

Also, make sure you use a really great face cleanser before bed. It's very important that you wash off not only your make up but the dirt and oil that's accumulated on your face during the day. Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask is awesome.

And be sure to use a light moisturizer in the morning. If your skin gets too dry it'll flake and actually cause clogged pores, but if you use too heavy of a moisturizer you'll get too oily and clog pores that way.

If none of this seems to be your problem, I'd think about going to see a dermatologest to see if you have a skin allergy. At least from there you can get a grip on what's going on with your face and he/she will be able to suggest make ups or creams for you.

    goodluck!
try avon... they guarantee their product or your money back!

This question is for men & women. What is a good foundation make up to cover up facial hair?

Enjoy :)This question is for men %26amp; women. What is a good foundation make up to cover up facial hair?
Have you tried waxing it...?...that seems to work and last quite a while and after waxing a few dozen times it slows down the process of growing back....Drag queens use alot of cover up first then foundation....they use costume makeup to cover up all the facial hair...

    I hope this helps you,

    Happy Holidays
HAHA. welcome to the begining of your ';golden years!'; i would suggest waxing. it hurts, but that is the price of beauty. i have had to wax my whole body since i was 12. use something like covergirls age cover up it will do the best job to hide it.
Well, I used to pluck and bleach, but eventually i couldnt hide it enough with foundation. I shave it now, and it is less noticable.

How do I match foundation make up to my skin?

I have purchased an endless number of powder and liquid foundations for my face and every time I get home and try it on, it never matches my skin tone. I thought the whole point of foundation was to look like it wasn't there by blending in with your skin tone? I can't seem to get to that point. HELP!!!How do I match foundation make up to my skin?
Foundation can be tricky especially when you purchase it in certain stores. If possible you want to sample the foundation away from flourscent lighting. If your able to use the foundation before you buy it place a small amount on the inside of your wrist, this skin is closest to the skin color on your face. Walk to the doors of the store and see how it looks. If your unable to sample try taking the makeup to an outside door and see how it looks. Another alternative to foundation is using a tinted moisturizer. Most of them come in 3 shades light, medium and dark and they blend into your skin but don't offer the same coverage as liquid foundation. Recently companies have been offering the ';ideal match'; foundations that are suppose to adjust to your skin coloring...you can try one of those. How do I match foundation make up to my skin?
if you want the best foundation (for coverage and skin) get bare minerals, it is a bit expensive (but the starter kit is actually a great deal) but it is a great investment!! If you have a sephora store nearby you can just go in and ask for a color match, but if not go online to http://www.bareminerals.com/ and click ';find your shade'; and you can match your skin tone, its also great because the kit comes with two different foundation colors, so you can try on both, or mix together for the perfect shade!!! good luck
No one is exactly one shade of foundation. Its always the best to try to match as possible if you cant afford to buy 2 or 3 bottles.

I suggest you try 3 colours and test them around the jaw line 1 shade that you think you are, 1 shade darker , and one shade lighter. The colour that matches the most should be your best pick. You rather have your foundation match your face to your neck than youe cheeks ( which is mostly the fairest)

You can visit my blog, I post a lot of intersting things about makeup that may be of interest to you.

    http://www.changingfacesbymay.blogspot.c鈥?/a>
i got my maybelline foundation at ulta and they had a great chart that had some nearly transparent swatches that you held up to you face and they do not show up when it is the right shade.

the bottles are not sealed either, so you could give it a little try.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
you should get L'Or茅al Paris' TruMatch. It matches it for you ;)

What is the purpose of make up foundation?

also should i use concealer or foundation to cover up my pores? What is the purpose of make up foundation?
foundation is used to even out bumps, texture and the color of your face.

concealer should be used on blemishes like pimples, scars and also under eye circles.

don't use concealer to cover pores!! foundation alone has enough coverage to cover them. What is the purpose of make up foundation?
    to hide flaws,,,my dear
foundation is supposed to even out your skin tone. concealer should only be used for little blemishes or under eye bags. to try and cover your pores you should use foundation
the purpose is to give a smooth complexion to work with when putting on makeup. personally i dont like. i have decent to good skin and it's too fussy for me. however, some good moisterizer like olay or neutrogena keeps my skin healthy and it gives it the glow that foundation does but in a much healthier way

and you shouldnt use it for that unless it's hypoallergenic or it will clog your pores, make you break out and make them bigger

or dont use it all, be careful
to cover the flaws on your skin.

a good foundation to use is clinique :)
To hide any flaws or minor discoloration. Also it gives your skin a shine that makes it glow.
foundation is bad for your skin cuz it can clog up your pores (certain ones can) but ppl still use it for making their skin look younger, smoother, and to cover up pimples or blemishes or anything
Foundation evens out your skin tone and hides blemishes. I think that you should use Jane foundation. It gives you good coverage.
to even up your skin. though you have to use it in moderation or it will look caked onn =]

bare minerals is great but i think sheer cover is the best. it hides all my flaws!
Clinique is my favorite %26amp; is what I'm using now. I also like Physicians Formula minerals so its almost a tie.

The beauty tech at the Clinique counter fitted their liquid foundation so it perfectly matched my skin tone %26amp; my type of complexion. It was nice to try it out %26amp; see what coverage I got. Plus it was fun getting my makeup applied. BTW I was at DIllards.
Mac studio fix fluid I have alot of freckles on my cheeks and it gives me great coverage and does not make me look cakey I have had my bottle going on almost 1 1/2 yr and still have plenty it cost about 25 -30 dollars I can't remember but well worth the money. my pics are not photo shopped
As for brand goes, defiantly Lo'real!

    Mineral Wear (loose powder)

So far this has been the best I've come across. I hate the thick and greasiness of liquid make-up. This stuff is light, covers great and best of all it doesn't have a smell. Some mineral foundations have a weird smell. It washes off easily and doesn't clog pores, but stays on long. Oh and it lasts a long time too.

    Hope this helps!
    l'oreal truematch

it blends with your natural colour, gives a good coverage but not thick and lasts well allday, and it is not expensive so good for regular use.

I always use a loose transluscent powder over the top!
i like almay. its light and it doesnt make u look orange or fake at all..
Definitely Neutrogena mineral sheers liquid make up. I love it.

What is the best brand of really good foundation make-up?

I usually just use Cover Girl or Maybelline, but I want a really good foundation and liquid cover-up for my face. I want cover-up that makes my skin look smooth and covers up blemishes really well as well as lasts all day so I do not have to re apply. I have heard Mac make-up is really good, but is it worth the price? What is the best brand of really good foundation make-up?
Hi Sparkle! Ask 20 women what their favorite foundation is and you'll probably get 15 different answers. It's SO subjective and not only depends on affordability (Covergirl @ $5.39 on drugstore.com to La Prairie foundation available at Neiman's for $165) but it also depends on skin type, the type of coverage desired and what kind of formulation is needed. Do you need a cream, a mineral powder, a fluid? Do you need a foundation that contains a sunscreen or do you use one prior to applying you foundation?

The first things you need to decide are:

What type of coverage do you need: sheer to med, med to full?

What type of formulation do you need: oil-free? extra hydrating?

Do you need a formula that contains a sunscreen?

What is your price range? What are you willing to spend?

Once you decide those parameters go out and try different foundations. Ask sales reps at the counters for samples in your color. Be sure to take small empty sample jars with you in case you get the odd ';we don't have samples of this'; - then there's no excuse NOT to pump out a little sample for you in your own container. This has saved me from purchasing a GREAT MANY mistakes! Make sure to wear your sample for a day or two. What goes on in the morning doesn't necessarily look great by 5 o'clock. Samples also give you enough to play with application - fingers? foundation brush? a sponge?

Finally, notice others skin and don't be afraid to ask what foundation someone is wearing. I've found many products this way. Some of my die hard favorites, in fact but, only after trying them out myself first.

Remember that your skin the canvas for the color that is going on from the neck up. If it's a choice between a foundation that's a little pricier and an extra eye shadow, drop the shadow and go with the foundation. Having beautiful glowing skin with properly matched foundation can be just what you need to make all the color products that you already have stand out just a bit more.

If you'd like to either edit with more info on your skin and foundation needs or send via email, I'll be glad to help you narrow down some options.

For someone with mature skin, I'd recommend Armani Designer Shaping Creme. It's hydrating, luminous, flawless and absolutely gorgeous!

Something for just about every skin type, but a little less costly, I'd recommend Jane Iredale. It's a mineral product that comes in a powder, compact or a liquid. It has antibacterial, anti inflammatory properties so it's great for everything from the occasional breakout or if you've just had a chemical peel. It is also a beautiful finish for the skin and less $$ than Armani though not as hydrating.

    Hope you found this helpful,

LRWhat is the best brand of really good foundation make-up?
    MAc%26lt;~~~def. worth it!!
mac is good, but some of their foundations, break people out, so maybe go into mac, have them find your color, and take a sample and see if it works for you.

i also would recommend dior, their stuff may seem really expensive but its a good investment. =)
I love Loreal True Match foundation.
personally i think foundation is one area worth splurging on

my new favourite thing is this foundation called Perfekt (you can get it at sephora), absolutely amazing stuff that will replace concealer, primer, powder, and foundation. it's pricey but makes you look flawless
    Revlon Colorstay-by a professional make-up artist.
    BareMinerals
The absolute best product that I've found is Mineral Foundation. I know you said you wanted liquid and that's what I used to use. Now I'm addicted to Mineral Foundation and I'll never go back to liquid. It goes on much more smoothly and truly makes your skin flawless. Give it shot - you might love it!
Yes, MAC is really good I've tried it. :) I also like Stila, though if you're a first buyer, it'll cost you around 47 bucks because of the refill and the empty compact. I'm using Stila right now, I'm almost finished with it though and I love it :)

Foundation is one of those cosmetics that are okay to buy an expensive one because it covers most of your face, and you can get allergies if you get cheap ones:)
I am getting supernatural by philsophy foundation. It is flawless. and will leave your skin silky smooth. It has an easy to apply aplicater conected to the bottle so you dont even have to use a brush! Also they have a great airbrushed concelear if you want to try that go to QVC.com and look under philosophy.
mac is good but the best i've come accross is Lancome. you can find the tight formulation for your skin type and it makes your skin look like ur a hollywood actress. It worked for me so i think you should try it!
mac is worth the price. beautiful skin is always worth the price. mary kay has a great foundation also.
I AGREE WITH DE FIRST GIRL
I have MAC and it does the job!

Is there a difference between liquid concealer and liquid make-up (foundation)?

Is it the same thing if you get it in the same shade or is the texture different? Specifically, I'm talking about Loreal true match, but I wonder about this in general too.Is there a difference between liquid concealer and liquid make-up (foundation)?
Concealer is a thicker consistancy to cover up heavy bags under the eyes, icky spots on the face, etc. You don't always need concealer; most people can just carry their foundation up to the lash line.Is there a difference between liquid concealer and liquid make-up (foundation)?
Concealer is thicker and more dense. Its designed to hide flaws. Make-up or foundation is used to set an even palette.
mostly no but a lot of concealers are usually a lot heavier.

What is a good cream foundation or dual foundation make-up you an apply with a sponge, that is paraben-free?

The paraben-free websites mostly focus on non-makeup items and sites like Aveda and Clinique refer you to a toll-free number. I would prefer something I can try out in a department store. I don't care for the mineral powders much...TIA for any recommendations. What is a good cream foundation or dual foundation make-up you an apply with a sponge, that is paraben-free?
If you live near a Sephora or Ulta, LORAC makes a foundation called ';Natural Performance'; foundation that is fragrance and paraben free. It's pretty expensive ($40!) but a little of it goes a very, VERY long way. And the packaging is fantastic, and very sanitary.

But definitely go in and check the colors. I thought I bought the right one and then I had to bring it back about a week later because I was looking super splotchy. If they had the right color for me, I would've hung on to it.

It sounds like you could benefit from using Sheer Cover make-up.

Your skin will still look natural even after Sheer Cover is applied all over the face-so you don't have to worry about looking too made up.

    Try going on www.sheercover.com

You will find all the info you will need here and you can order on this site also. Read other stories of other Sheer Cover users and other frequent questions about the product. Hopefully this will answer your question.
anything you use to try to cover up your freckels is going to end up looking fake BUT

my friend uses makeup forever and it covers hers up, but it looks kinda cakey

try bare minerals makeup. its extremly blendable and will even out your skin tone without covering your freckles!!
Dont listen to the guy above

Hes just trying to get you to buy some expensive thing when you can just go to walmart and get a good one.

I have tons of freckles too.. and I LOVE THEM!!

    I use loreal infallible foundation..

and then a light powder from covergirl

    It works perfectly!
Well personally if i had freckles id never cover them up i think there really cute!!!.

My favourite foundation is Dior Satin it's light yet provides you with the right coverage but also avoids the ';caked/plastered on'; look, makes you look naturally ';perfect'; :P x
I use and swear by Bare Essentuals mineral makeup. it covers so well yet you don't feel like you're wearing any makeup at all. I too have freckles and it just evens out my skin coloring without looking like I'm trying to hide them.
u should probably try to find A mineral foundation or if you r really trying to cover them as much as u can go to m-a-c...and they will find ur color and its ok if u have to use more than one color the point is really to make it all blend!
I use dream matte mouse. and i have quite a lot.

but you have to get the exact colour or it makes u a bit orange :/ haha!

  • What is the best foundation make-up to hide fine lines and wrinkles?

Something that is'nt to expensive. What is the best foundation make-up to hide fine lines and wrinkles?
I find that Neutrogena Healthy Glow works best for fine lines and wrinkles. At Walmart it is about 10 bucks. It has Retinal that is great for that, as well as SPF 20 for your sunny days. I love that it is sheer and gives an even tone. Hope this helps. What is the best foundation make-up to hide fine lines and wrinkles?
    Try dermablend.
bare minerals is amazing and it works with wrinkles to make them less noticable. its also a powder so it doesnt bunch up between the lines.
    probably like oil of olay..
Vital Radiance (1-800-Radiant for free samples and your color palatte)

It's made for old women with fine lines. Every one of their products is useful for that. You should check it out!!! That phone number goes directly to a beauty advisor which can assist you even with your current makeup to apply it differently to best fit your needs. They are amazing! (I'm a beauty advisor at Walgreens and recommend that number to all the women that come in....They are so helpful!)
I just tried Cover Girl Age Defying make-up, both in cream powder and powder, and although I thought they wouldn't work, they did!
use a light feeling foundation--try something ';age defying.'; beyond that, go easy on the powder, as it cakes over base sometimes and will only make the lines more noticable.
its not make up but, not that i hav wrinkles but uses pearl cream

mom uses it all the time!
Avon true blend should do the trick

Dab the foundation stain with some dish detergent/soap and let it sit for a few minutes.... Launder as usual and dry it out in the sun... Nature's bleach....

When i put my make up [foundation] on, it matches my skin perfectly, but then it starts turning orange?

    i use lancom.

do i need to switch brands or what? When i put my make up [foundation] on, it matches my skin perfectly, but then it starts turning orange?
I had the same problem. My best recommendation is trying Clinique makeup. Just the foundation tube is about 30$ but when you put it on, it feels so light and fresh, and blends perfectly. And a Clinique sales rep. will help you find the best shade and all that for your skin type. Best part about it, keeps my skin clear and healthy looking, instead of looking like an oompa loompa.

good luck! When i put my make up [foundation] on, it matches my skin perfectly, but then it starts turning orange?
you might want to switch brands.

i actually stopped using liquid foundation a long time ago; it's so icky.

try bare escentuals, laura gellar's baked makeup, all i used is some pressed powder for my face and i get an even skin tone.

try bare escentuals. it covers and won't change color on you.

How do you remove foundation make up from car vinyl?

I get ready for work in my car and over time the foundation on my hands has stained my steering wheel and gearshift. I can't remove it with soap and water. Is there anyone who has had this problem or has any suggestions(besides not applying make up while I'm driving =P).How do you remove foundation make up from car vinyl?
If it's vinyl, try Armor All wipes. Those things can clean almost anything. How do you remove foundation make up from car vinyl?
    try windex.
Armorall. It is great for cleaning anything in your car. I tried it on the outside of the car to clean bird droppings, and it was great. I use it regularly on the inside on the dash, leather seats, steering wheel, arm rests, etc. I am so pleased I never try anything else.
I also have this problem regularly! Surprisingly Huggies baby wipes work wonders on leather%26amp;vinyl. If that doesn't cut it Windex with Vinegar will! Hope this helps!!!

What is the best Mineral Make-up Foundation?

Do you know what is the best mineral make-up foundation that I can purschase at a drugstore. And it:

    -Has Good Coverage

    -For Dry skin

-Stays on even after a long workout

-Covers redness and ZitsWhat is the best Mineral Make-up Foundation?
Honestly buying cheap drugstore makeup is a huge mistake... And Bare Minerals is the best mineral makeup out there. You can buy a kit from sephora for about $60 i think, it's probably a bit cheaper.. and it lasts you for about a year, so it's definitely worth it, and it's so much better for your skin then the cheap stuff.. seriously consider looking into :)What is the best Mineral Make-up Foundation?
    Bare Minerals i LOVE.

I wear it through out the day and then when i go to the gym and it never wears out.

and i feel like it covers redness and zits really good, it also depends how much acne you have too.

I hear revlon colorstay mineral powder I think its called has really good coverage, and its minerals !

    I think its around $15
Try TruBlend Loose Mineral Powder by CoverGirl.

What is the best foundation make up for oily skin?

I have really oily skin which is acne prone. I do use ProActiv. I currently wear bare minerals, but it makes me look cakey and super oily. Colorstay has good coverage but breaks me out. Does anyone know what foundation and powder will be good to use? What is the best foundation make up for oily skin?
I have super oily skin too. I use ';Workout Makeup'; foundation by Clinique. And when it gets really bad, like in the summer, my favorite secret trick is to apply solid deodorant to my face.

You'd think it would break out my face because it clogs pores, but it doesn't. Actually it seems to prevent pimples. But you'd have to test it yourself. I use Secret Solid in Powder Fresh scent (not the Invisible Solid because that irritates my armpits, so I see no reason why it wouldn't irritate my face).

I discovered deodorant on my face because I noticed that many oil control skin care products have clay in them, and if I'm not mistaken, aluminum zirconium is another way of saying ';clay'; except it's a manmade clay because of the other things it's bonded with.

I apply it underneath my foundation and the oil and shine control lasts all day, even overnight. Even workout foundation isn't enough shine and oil control for me. Some people just need more I guess.

I also wash my face twice a day with Lancome Gel Pure Focus ($24!!!) it's the only cleanser that makes a dent in the oil. Watch out, it will be very very drying for someone who has only minorly oily skin.

I use super fine baby powder instead of powder for my face because it simply has more talc / cornstarch in it. Of course, my skin is very fair, so it looks OK. Your mileage will vary.

Those are the ';big guns'; I use, so you may be able to take care of the problem with less harsh products. Good luck!

What is the best foundation make up for oily skin?
I also use ProActiv and they have a product called Daily Oil control and moisturizer called the Oil-Free Moisture with SPF 15. It works really well and my face doesn't get oily during the days. I use MAC's Studio Fix and it has really good coverage. It comes it a lot of shades and doesn't make me break out or look cakey. But you can always use oil blotting sheets if you get oil during the day.
I have the same problem and I use to use proactive and I am also currently using bare minerals and it also leaves my skin looking cakey and oily. I bought skin id and my skin is not as oily anymore. You should replace proactive with skin id. I works great on me and if you enter the code neutrogena10 you get $10 off your purchase.
i don't know what your budget is but neutrogena has a make-up line so that may work, or if you are willing to spend a bit extra go to the estee lauder counter at your local department store i.e. macy's, dillards and they have a line for oily skin as well. since you have sensitive skin try to look for products that are for sensitive skin and are hypoallergenic.
I loved Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I had to stop using Proactive on my oily skin because it was causing my skin to become ashy.

Now I use the tips that I posted on my buzz blog to take care of my oily skin.

    http://buzz.prevention.com/community/sin鈥?/a>

use a azn rice powder to take off the oil and then use a foundation primer the you can use your bear minerals and that should help
Don't use it. Unless you REALLY need to. If your skin is very oily and prone to breaking out then most cover ups will do this to your skin.
Try Perfectly Real foundation from Clinique its $20 but it lasts forever!

fashion fair. you can find it @ macy's, filene's, etc.

I would suggest DermaBlend, works AMAZIN :)What Cover up( make up Foundation) is the best to use to cover up scars on your face from acne?
There is a really good acne product and foundation with marykay I'm not sure what it is called but look on page 31 in the catalog for different foundations, creme, powders, and mineral powders and the acne treatment gel is on page 29. by the way the products are set at a very reasonable prices and work like really good...umm..but here is my moms website and you can look on there: http://www.marykay.com/dstephens1
max factor lasting performance is really good as its so thick and a lot cheaper than a camaflage make.

but in your face sraight from the tube and when your rubbing it in make sure that you 'pat' in on with your fingers.it will sit rather than sink on to your face, then just set with loose powder.
you know, i don't really know about which makeup would help, but i know that you can buy this kind of cocoa-butter kind of stuff that will help reduce how noticeable scars are. i would try that every day along with whatever coverup you decide to use.
get some scar cream first to get rid of your acne scars in the first place. then any cover up will rule :). you probably want a cream cover up w/ concealer of some sort if you dont wanna wait for the scars to go away

Can I use make-up (foundation) to cover stretch marks on chest?

Do people do that??Can I use make-up (foundation) to cover stretch marks on chest?
the best thing to use is bio oil it is puposly for this and costs around 拢6 FROM CHEMISTCan I use make-up (foundation) to cover stretch marks on chest?
There's a powder called Sheer Cover which hides just about anything so you could try that. :)
Try it, see if it is ok for you.

The other day I was bored and thought I'd try some of my Revlon Colorstay foundation on some of my marks. It covered them, but not completely. I'd say it covered them by about 75%... You could still slightly see them.

The only thing is, you will have to make sure the colour of the foundation matches your skin near too 100% as possible, otherwise it will look horrible. It will look fake, and cakey.

When you get a match, set it with translucent powder afterwards to help the foundation stay on longer.
that could end up looking messy and orange and ruin your clothes.

reduce them by rubbing baby oil into your skin every night :)
I wouldn't try that if your not that confident maybe use a powder but i think you should buy Bio-Oil.

It works really well to get rid of stretch marks and does it fast.
maybe you could try using a foundation with a sponge and using bio oil i had stretch Marks to and i used bio oil twice a day and they were piratically gone in 2 weeks!! XD
If they are really noticeable you can buy 'camouflage' make -up, it's used for scar's, stretch mark's, tattoo's ect. a brand called 'Rio' sells it. l think you can get it from www.littlewoods.com just type ' rio make -up' into the website's search engine.

I really like Rimmel London's Stay Matte foundation because it's lightweight but it also covers really well. It only costs $7 and it's pretty new.
HI. I wont use anything other than Dior foundation. It about 拢24 but it is so easy to blend, really really natural and takes away any reddishness or blothes etc. Although it is quite expensive it normally last about 9-10 months if you seal the top properly so its quite good value.I found it when looking forward wedding make up and it really makes your skin flawless. Hope this helps
Clinique Superfit foundation. I love it. It's excellent for people who a mix of dry and oily skin. Really one of the best foundations i've ever used.

I thought i would try a make-up specifically for dry skin, and recently bought Clarins True Comfort foundation, and it made my dry skin alot worse. I know the Clarins True Radiance is excellent though.

Both really expensive I'm afraid, but totally worth it!
If you do not have prob skin, rimmels pretty good.

I just started using Lancome and its been a revelation in comparison to the cheaper brands I have always used re blending, even covergae etc

Not cheap but it lasts, I only need it on forehead, ard nose and chin area , blend onto other areas (and bronzer)
Cement. It provides a good foundation.
These are ones I'd definitely recommend:

Myface cosmetics foundation called Mymix (see the link below for more details:http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>

Revlon Colorstay. This is my absolute fave at the moment. It really covers well %26amp; gives a natural finish.(%26amp;good value as well)

Revlon Beyond Natural skin matching make-up(which has just come out on the market %26amp; it looks white when you apply it %26amp; when you massage into ur skin, it turns into the colour of your skin exactly %26amp; adapts to your skin colour).

  • Best make up foundation and best mascarra?

What is the best make up foundation brand that creates a natural look, covers blemishes and dark spots, creates a flawless look yet oily free.

What brand of mascarra is the best?Best make up foundation and best mascarra?
This kind of question is in the makeup section alot and alot of people tend to say they know what is the absolute best, but the question you should think about is: What is the besy foundation and mascara for ME? My mom uses Revlon Age Defying makeup and she loves it, but that doesnt mean any woman, especially someone alot younger , should use that foundation..Best make up foundation and best mascarra?
I use Sheer Cover and I love it. It covers flaws perfectly yet it gives you a natural look so it looks like your naturally perfect! For mascara i recommend using any by cover girl. I find it really helps give your lashes a boost in length! Good luck!
i love telescopic mascara i think its by loreal i forgot i just know that its called telescopic and its in a goldish tube. its the best mascarra yet i have found that works really great. also for foundation i hate all of them they are all caky and thick and dont cover up the oil on my face i have oily skin so i dont wear it. i heard that sheer cover up works i havent tried it yet but i will its suppose to work good and its very light and not caky its in a powder , soft like talc. i forgot the name though
a good foundation that is cheap is Covergirl.. and if you wanna spend a little more - Neutrogena is better for your skin.. as for the mascara i'd have to say that the pink and green bottle -- umm great lash? is the best.. =)
well some ppl will probably say MAC! but its freaking expensive! so i will stick with covergirl or trublend or milani

    MASCARA

waterproof you mean? dont try maybelline its not waterproff um probably like covergirl
in my opinion the best foundation is clinique's city base. it's actually a cream. it's not liquid like a foundation but it provides just as good coverage. i used to use it when i had really bad acne or acne scars and it would cover it up really well. since then, i have been using mac's studio fix. it's a powder but i no longer have acne so it works well for me with my blemish scars. i find that it covers my blemishes well and it leaves my skin feeling light.

the best mascara in my opinion is bed head tigi eyes love it mascara. i say it's the best because it's the only mascara that will curl my lashes without me having to use a curler. it also makes my lashes longer than any other mascara i've tried (believe me, i've tried a lot). also, i like to put a lot on and this mascara doesn't clump even when i put on 3 or 4 coats.

oh and try blending your foundation with a very good foundation brush [try M.A.C's brushes]
Mary Kay all the way. Whats the best make up foundation> ?

i use lancolm make up its great and last ages but fancey a chaNGE ? any tips? or any reckomended products?Whats the best make up foundation%26gt; ?
I use Bare Minerals. It covers up everything very well and it feels so good on my face. It's like I'm not wearing any. My bf can't even tell if I'm wearing makeup or not.Whats the best make up foundation%26gt; ?
dont wear foundation it makes your face really oiliy. bare minerals is the best choice for face make up. I'm sure your thinking it is powder and it wont stay on but it stays on just as well as foundation without the disadvantages.
mary kay foundations are awesome. try before you buy!
I like Elizabeth Arden. They have a nice Mousse Make-Up. It's great if you have even toned skin and very light........
I use Bare Escentuals and absolutely swear by it.
    Mary Kay.
Clinique has a nice foundation called perfectly real makeup. It is very light and easy to apply.

What is a good brand of make-up foundation?

i dont have any acne or pimples i need to cover up, i just want even and not-shiny looking skin. im looking for brands that i could find like at walgreens or target. is the maybelline moose foundation good? thats what i was thinking of buying. if anyone knows of any expensive foundations that work well also, please let me know! What is a good brand of make-up foundation?
I really like CoverGirl Tru Blend. It goes on so smoothly and blends into the skin nicely. It is like a mousse and is very velvety and creamy. It will cover up any imperfection you have and last a long long time. I have a problem with shiny looking skin and have not had that problem with this product. Plus it is not expensive at all. Since using this foundation my makeup has looked so much better. I've even used Bare Minerals and it doesn't work near as great as this does. Good luck and I hope you give it a try!! I love it!!!!What is a good brand of make-up foundation?
Try Maybelline Pure Makeup. Its a really nice shine free oil free foundation, perfect for enough cover up if you dont have pimples. I have oily skin so it was pretty hard to find something that would not make it even oilier, but i found this stuff and it worked great. I bought mine at walmart so they probably sell it at walgreens or target too.
well my mom works inna hair salon cuz she's a hairstylist. and well she's always bringin home new products and stuff and of course.. makeup. and her salon just got a new makeup line called mirabella. and ohhmygodd there makeup is awesome. especially their foundation. i mean like, i put it on and it looks like nothin is even on my face.. it's amazing. i really reccommend mirabella.
i use loreal mineral powder concealer, foundation, and blush, it works really well! its like 12 bux or so at target :)

    mine please!! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>

WORKS AMAZING!!!! oil free!! i use it and its like 15 bucks :) available at walmart
    department store: clinique

regular store [target or walmart]: allmay or covergirl are both great choices.
the almay brand works good.. the one where it transform into the right skin color.. it doesn't clog pores so you don't have to worry about getting acne or zits or whatever
MAC - its the best ... worth the price...

but if you go to Target or something then stick with Cover GIrl Or Physicians Formula

What's the best affordable brand of make-up foundation?

I just recently started using MAC Studio Fix foundation. It is about $25 a bottle, but I find I don't go through it as fast. A little goes a long way where as when I was using drug store brands I had to use alot more to get the coverage I want and need to blend and cover all my imperfections. Plus it seems to control oil much better when I use it with the blot powder. I only have to touch up 2-3 times instead of 5-6. Good luck! What's the best affordable brand of make-up foundation?
bare minerals. What's the best affordable brand of make-up foundation?

Bee Luscious Cosmetics it may be 36.00 but lasts beautifully for 6 months and you have totally flawless skin every single time.
I have been using kms mineral essentials for over a year now and I can鈥檛 say enough good things about them! I used to use Bare Minerals but it got too expensive. I was

hoping to find another brand that gave me the same results without costing so much and I found it in kms.

I found out that all mineral makeup is not alike. A lot of them have fillers and other ingredients considered to be irritating to the skin. This brand mineral makeup is all natural, has a built-in sunscreen, and is very long wearing. Even on a hot day I don鈥檛 have to touch up my makeup! Their customer service is great and I always get my products quickly. They also have an optional makeup club you can join so you never have to worry about running out! You should check them out at www.kmsmineralessentials.com.

Ladies, what's the best mineral make-up (foundation and concealer) you've ever tried?

Brand that's not too costly but still very high qualityLadies, what's the best mineral make-up (foundation and concealer) you've ever tried?
LAminerals! Absolutely the BEST mineral makeup I've every used. They have 2 formulas: Hollywood and NoHoGlo. One has a lil more coverage, the other alil more glowy dewy. Both are great, I use em both, sometimes together. Price is reasonable and way better than Bare minerals.

Their concealers are corrective ones: a greenish one for redness and a yellowish one for dark areas and undereye.

They are mineral powder concealers and work great unde the foundation. They feel really creamy and go on really smooth and last all day.

If you are thinking of using mineral makeup I'd get samples and try before you buy.

My samples from LAminerals.com were only like $1 and they shipped em free.Ladies, what's the best mineral make-up (foundation and concealer) you've ever tried?
BARE MINERALS ALL THE WAY! Clinique and Benefit too!
Well, if you are looking for something that is not too costly, then I would say maybelline.

    They have some mineral coverups.

but theres a site where you can get mineral makeup from..

    www.mineralgirlz.com
I am a fan of Bare Minerals and Pur. They're not low-cost, per se, but they last a long time -- you can order them directly, or get them someplace like Sephora, Ulta, or on QVC. They cover nicely and don't make me break out.

As for low-cost, L'Oreal has a newish mineral line, and possibly Almay. I haven't tried them, but my Target always seems to run out of them, so I think they're popular.
lilly lolo is really really really good and its cheap - v. cheap for high quality mineral makup they have a HUGE range of foundation, eyeshadow, bronzer, concealer, finishing powder, blusher and sooooooo much more. they have a cheap brush range (high quality) thats cheap and stylish. you can mix their blushers/eyeshadows with clear lipgloss to make coloured (though check the website coz you cant do that with some) they have 99p samples of almost all their stuff that lasts foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bare Minerals for sure. You can get a kit for about $60.00 and you will have it for about a year. Comes with brushes and everything. Go in for a consultation so they can show you how to apply.
