I have acne proned skin and I found it's better to not wear foundation but wear compressed, mosaic powder by NYC or Nutagena. And make sure it's oil free!

I had the same problem and finally found the perfect foundation that covers well but doesn't cost me a fortune!


try MAYBELLINE DREAM MATTE MOUSSE (it comes in a little round jar) and you don't even have to wear powder trust me!
Because you don't say what skin type you have it's hard to answer your question but I found an article that discusses all skin types and which foundations to use for them.

try a green based concealer under your foundation it will help counteract the redness of your acne alot of brands out there stock foundations that are suited for acne skin and you want one that doesnt have oil as that will make your pores worse. you might find using a concealer with a tinted moisturiser and a hint of powder the best way to go as it will help keep that natural look (just don't go too over baord with the green based concealer or you could end up looking a bit grey!!) and always make sure you use a good cleanser to remove that make up!!! nothing makes your acne worse than leaving traces of make up on your skin

i like neutrogena healthy skin foundation. they have a skin clearing one and i think it works pretty well. id say its light to medium coverage i cant reccomend anything for heavier coverage though.

none. no make up besides clearing up your skin youre more beautiful w/o make up! do try proactive or tanning salons, only 5mins per day to rid your acne problem so no worry of burns or adverse effects from the beds
I USE TO USE ALMAY %26amp; IT WORKED FOR AWHILE. I NOW USE ESTELAUDER %26amp; HAVE HAD CLEAR SKIN EVER SINCE. I REALLY THINK THE MAIN KEY IS TO WASH YOUR SKIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY %26amp; THEN REAPPLY THE MAKEUP. THEN AT NIGHT MAKE SURE ALL MAKEUP IS OFF WITH A NON-SCENTED SOAP. PERFUMES IN SOAP OR MAKEUP ARE THE WORSE.

Have you ever tried cover girl's clean makeup fragrance free. It's not oily and also try a natural color eye shadow, one that matches your color of skin, and Rub your finger on the eye shadow just enough to cover your finger and rub it over your zip or any red spots. OK, you put your liquid make up on, then cover all red spots and then put your powder on. I do it every time i put my make up on and no one can tell and it does not clump up around the zip to make it look like you were trying to cover it up.
Physicans Formula. Sold at most stores. Walmart especially. A little pricy, but good, Also bare minerals. Good luck!
