The norm is a mineral makeup or a something like Lycogel MD.


Lycogel is full coverage breathable makeup used on sets where the actress has acne problems. The problem with this makeup is the colors are limited so they usually have artists custom blending these for them and they are REALLY expensive. For mineral makeup the most common are Jane Iredale or Youngblood because of their pigment content. For acne skin the Jane Iredale pressed base pressed into skin with a sponge gives full coverage that is breathable. Most minerals are sheered out for more sheer coverage like bare escentials or bare minerals for soft coverage. You won't find those on a set or typically used by people who can afford the best and are photographed a lot.
