The term make-up refers to any product applied to the face to enhance your appearance so it means basically everything. Foundation and make-up are sometimes used interchangeably. Foundation comes in many forms - liquid, powder, mineral powder - and is used to even out your skin tone. Concealer is used in addition to foundation. It's name suggests exactly what it's used for - to conceal things such as dark under-eye circles, blemishes, or other small marks on the face. Just remember that a little goes along way. Use your concealer first and then apply your foundation to the rest of your face. Just remember to blend, especially around your eyes and underneath your chin.
Makeup is any color you put on your face .Everything except lashes and tools.There are different types of makeup [cosmetics] makeup for the canvas/face is called Foundation.





However concealer and foundation is two different things . A concealer is to conceal/hide [ a thicker coverage to hide flaws] and a foundation is to even out the skin tone on the entire face.





There 4 types of foundation - liquid , powder and cream.minerals.


1.liquid is not oil free , great for people with dry skin .Medium coverage.





2.powder is a light finish , great for people with oily skin and less blemishes/brown spots/age spots .also to set a concealer .Flawless finish.light- medium coverage





3.a cream is a thicker consistency [a mix of powery finish and liquidy finish],all depends on preference .gives a matte finish.heavy coverage.





4.Minerals- pure minerals[looks like pwdr] light to medium coverage.Gives a more flawless finish.





There are stick concealers and cream foundations-same thing just a matter of preference.

Concealer can go over your foundation or under and most women put it under there eyes or on a blemish it helps to conceal your spots hence the name ';concealer';


The best thing to do is use foundation then buy a powder to put over it. Then there is blush you put on your cheaks if you have a good complexion and still want to use something then use the best thing is just use some powder

Concealer is also used for under eye circles. The problem with using yellow-based concealer on undereyes is that it doesn't help much. For under eye circles you use salmon toned concealer. well make up is a general term for anything that goes on your face to make u look better. It can be eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation...etc. Foundation is usually in a liquid form. I'm huge on concealer..it seems that summer is like breaking out time..for meh..and spf tint lotion.
concealer covers up small skin blemishes. Foundation even out your skin tone as a preparation for putting on makeup, and makeup allows you to paint your face the way that you want rather than the way nature made it.
Make up is all of the things ..foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, lipgloss, blusher are all types of make up. Anything you can find in the make up section in boots is a type of make up.
Concealer is specifically for targeting smaller areas like shadows under the eyes.
